FOTON BUS shipped bulk order to the West African passenger transport market, expanding regional bus partnerships with reliable quality

Recently, FOTON BUS, a division of FOTON Motor, successfully shipped a batch of high-end buses to a key West African market. Dozens of FOTON buses have been officially delivered to a local inter-provincial transport group and will be used for major intercity passenger routes in the region. This shipment marks FOTON BUS's first large-scale breakthrough in the regional passenger transport market and is also the company's largest single order of the year. It signifies significant progress in expanding into new business areas and customer groups, providing strong support for FOTON Motor's continued growth in the West African market.

The partner in this collaboration is a local passenger transport company with an extensive network, dedicated to providing intercity travel services. The decision to introduce FOTON BUS was based on recognition of the FOTON brand, product technology, and service capabilities. As the first cooperation between the two parties, the shipment of this batch of vehicles will support the partner's fleet upgrade and service improvement. It also marks FOTON BUS's entry into the region's passenger transport supplier network, carrying significant strategic importance.

The FOTON BUS models shipped this time were developed to meet the demands of long-distance passenger transport. The vehicles feature a Cummins engine paired with a FAST gearbox, ensuring stable power performance and fuel efficiency during long-distance operations. This combination is designed to adapt to various geographic and road conditions, supporting operational efficiency and vehicle availability. In terms of passenger experience and comfort, these vehicles have been specially designed. The interior features a 46+1+1 seating layout, providing spacious accommodation. The buses are equipped with Wi-Fi coverage throughout, offering convenience for passengers. For entertainment, the buses include a front overhead TV and multiple display screens in the passenger areas, providing audiovisual content to enhance the travel experience. These configurations elevate the comfort standards for intercity passenger transport in the region, reflecting FOTON Motor's commitment to meeting user needs and supporting improvements in passenger services.

The successful shipment of this bulk order marks significant progress in FOTON Motor's diversified development in the West African market. It demonstrates that FOTON's products and brand influence are no longer limited to the traditional commercial vehicle sector, as the company gradually enters the passenger transport market. From heavy-duty trucks and light commercial vehicles to buses, FOTON is actively participating in various sectors of the region's economic and social development with its diverse range of commercial vehicle products. For the West African market, the introduction of these passenger vehicles will enhance the operational efficiency and service standards of the regional transport network. They will operate on routes connecting major cities and economic hubs, facilitating the movement of people and goods. These vehicles are an important part of the region's transportation infrastructure renewal, contributing to social development and economic exchange.

In handling this large-scale order with high specifications, FOTON Motor demonstrated a systematic approach, covering every stage from order confirmation, production, quality control, international logistics, customs clearance, to shipping and post-delivery training preparation. This comprehensive support ensured the smooth delivery and timely deployment of the vehicles. Additionally, it laid a solid foundation for after-sales service and technical support, helping to strengthen the ongoing partnership and ensuring long-term cooperation.

Guided by its Africa strategy, FOTON Motor will continue to adhere to its approach of deepening market presence and serving customers in overseas markets. The company plans to expand its operations in West Africa and the broader African market, using FOTON BUS's entry into the passenger transport sector as a new starting point. FOTON will gradually introduce more buses and a full range of commercial vehicle products tailored to local needs. At the same time, FOTON will further strengthen its local service network and staff training, aiming to provide African customers with a comprehensive value experience from products to services, making travel safer and more comfortable.
