DRIVING A CIRCULAR CHILE WITH AMBITIOUS GOALS BY 2040.
In July 2021, the Ministry of the Environment published the Roadmap
for a Circular Chile with ambitious goals by 2040, including four lines of action: Circular Innovation,
Circular Culture, Circular Regulation, and Circular Territory. FOTON takes the concept of "sustainable
urban development begins with public transportation", uses new energy technology and services to help
Chile achieve the challenge of decarbonizing in 2040.
SHIFTING NEW BUS PROCUREMENTS IN LATIN AMERICAN CITIES TO ZERO EMISSION TECHNOLOGIES.
The Zero Emission Bus Rapid-deployment Accelerator (ZEBRA) aims to deploy
more than 3,000 new electric buses in Brazil, Chile, Colombia and Mexico. The deployments will focus
on ‘core cities’ where the partnership is already most active in the four countries, São Paulo,
                    Santiago, Medellín and Mexico City.
As one of new manufacturers joined the partnership in 2021 committing to
ramp up the production of these vehicles for the region, FOTON is fully committed to sustainable
development and devoted to cutting carbon emissions and improving people’s mobility in Latin
America. Transit Systems concentrates solely on providing urban transport services with a long
history of successful and efficient service provision.

Launched in 2019 to accelerate the deployment of zero emission buses in
                        major Latin American cities.

ONE OF THE PILLARS OF OUR TASK IS TO IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF LIFE OF
ALL PEOPLE. BRINGING ELECTROMOBILITY AND ITS BENEFITS TO SECTORS THAT HAVE BEEN LEFT BEHIND BY
DEVELOPMENT IS NOT ONLY MAKING A MORE SUSTAINABLE CITY, IT IS MAKING IT MORE INCLUSIVE.

THE 1ST BATCH OF eBUS DEBUT IN CHILE IN 2020.
In 2020, within the framework of the renewal of the fleet of
the Santiago Metropolitan Mobility Network (RED) public transport system, the Ministry of Transport
and Telecommunications put a total of 215 FOTON electric buses into circulation, travelling onmore
than 20 routes that pass through Alameda to reach its terminal in Maipú, contributing in these long
stretches to reducing the environmental impact of public transport and the comfort of the
                    capitalists.
With these new zero-emission electric models, the
longest-lived buses that had the Euro III standard are replaced, which produced a significant level
of pollutants. With the incorporation of FOTON ebuses, a large number of people from Santiago will
be able to travel in an inclusive and more comfortable way, being able to have a trip in ergonomic
                    and safe spaces.
FOTON U12 SC type ebuses are equipped with CATL lithium
battery, which is lighter and stores more battery capacity in a smaller space. This would be the one
with the highest capacity on the market with 385 kWh. When using a 150 kWh charger, charging times
are close to two hours and if a higher power charger is used, charging time could be further
reduced. This electric bus is armed with a reinforced monocoque structure, powertrain consisting of
ZF axles and suspension, and a TM4 Dana Prestolite electric motor.
The electric FOTON ebus has state-of-the-art technology and a
modern battery. In addition, it is equipped with a ramp for wheelchairs, pneumatic suspension with
kneeling system, capacity for 28 seats plus a space for wheelchairs and, additionally, 6 folding
seats, LED light, electric defroster, USB chargers, WIFI, ADAS system, adjustable steering wheel,
360° camera, air conditioning, ergonomic driver's cab with wide vision and segregated. It also has
                    passive safety elements, among others.

In addition to the U12 SC electric type model, the second model was
added, which has a length of 10.5 meters, capacity for 74 passengers. Unlike the previous model,
this one incorporates a 245 kW synchronous motor that generates a torque of up to 3,329 Nm. The
energy is stored in a CATL lithium-ferrophosphate (LFP) battery with a capacity of 315 kWh.

Regarding the equipment, all the buses will have USB ports, air

                        monitor the environment and others.
In addition, both models enable universal accessibility, allowing easy
access for people with reduced mobility, they will display electronic itineraries, they will
offer Wi-Fi connectivity, and interior security cameras, among other features.
