From August 24 to 29, the BAIC FOTON 2026 Technology & Culture Festival featured technology launches, achievement exhibitions, scenariobased experiences and cultural exchanges. Overseas customers and media from Central America took part in the events as “Overseas Experience Ambassadors”, gaining firsthand insights into BAIC FOTON’s technologies, products, manufacturing capabilities and corporate culture.
Coordinated Deployment Across Eight Domains, Seven Innovative Achievements Put into Practical Application
On August 24, the Science and Technology Innovation Conference of the Science and Culture Festival was held at the XLab Test Center. In response to the newenergy and intelligent transformation of the global commercialvehicle industry, BAIC FOTON pursues three core strategies: comprehensive internationalization, comprehensive newenergy transition and comprehensive intelligence. Seven indigenous innovation achievements were unveiled at the conference, namely the “Lingshu” FEEP 2.0 intelligent domain control architecture platform, the “Jin Hun” P13 hybrid system dedicated to lightduty commercial vehicles, highperformance metallic bipolar plates for fuel cells, the “Chuanggou” generative AI forwarddevelopment platform for commercial vehicles, “Cangqiong Intelligent Driving” highwayassisted driving solution, vehiclegrid energy interaction ecosystem technology, and the “Fuzhi” FOTON AI fulldomain data empowerment platform. Several of these innovations have been deployed in massproduced vehicles or entered commercial pilot phases, translating researchanddevelopment outputs into realworld products and applications.

At the Science and Culture Festival, heavyduty trucks, lightduty trucks, intelligent VANs, pickups, specialpurpose work vehicles and L4level autonomous equipment were all on display. The showcased products cover multiple technical solutions including liquidhydrogen, batteryelectric and hybrid power, with multiple models available for test rides and test drives. Overseas guest evaluators gained firsthand insights into how different technical solutions are implemented in realworld products through handson experiences.
Beyond experiencing BAIC FOTON’s comprehensive product strengths, the evaluators also visited the FOTON Cummins plant and FOTON AUMAN factory. They observed R&D and production workflows up close, and learned about BAIC FOTON’s key progress in cuttingedge fields such as newenergy technologies, smart connectivity and autonomous driving. From testdrive experiences to smart manufacturing, this immersive tour enabled overseas guests to develop a wellrounded understanding of BAIC FOTON’s technical accumulation and innovation capabilities.
